General Description

The National Project Consultant(NPC) reports to the Vice President of Commercial Solutions. The National Project Consultant is responsible for monitoring how efficiently and effectively a project is operating and the ability to strategically adjust. The National Project Consultant provides support to DKI Members performing the field work and communicates all details of the project to the client. The National Project Consultant may be required to travel for emergency response management.

 

The National Project Consultant has the responsibility for all operational processes throughout the project, post-sale, with a specific focus on the design, implementation, and management of operational processes to exponentially increase DKICS operational efficiency and effectiveness in the areas of:

  • Quality Assurance
  • Compliance
  • Audit & Review
  • Project Consulting
  • Client Experience and Retention
 

MUST have Industry Experience

 

JOB DUTIES AND SKILL REQIREMENTS

  • o Management of daily operations related to projects.
  • o Management of the project budget, implement budget controls and make recommendations if necessary.
  • o Management of company’s field inspection efforts.
  • o Management of company’s audit/estimate review efforts.
  • o Management of company’s compliancy efforts.
  • o Management of outsourced operational solutions(subcontractors/vendors).
  • o Ability to work easily and effectively with a wide range of people, practicing leadership, motivation, team building and conflict resolution.
  • o Highly skilled at project management, team supervision and systems of accountability; able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once; ability to meet deadlines.
  • o Must demonstrate the ability to make significant decisions and exercise sound business judgment in the interest of the department.
  • o Ability to perform under stress and thrive in a fast-paced, intense work environment.
  • o Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • o Excellent client & membership service skills
  • o Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accuracy and quality.
  • o Excellent business software skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • o Knowledge of industry software:IN2DKI, Xactimate, T&M Pro.
  • o Issue resolution with all departments.
  • o Represent DKI in meetings, events, training, etc.
  • o Research and recruit vendors that support the Commercial Solutions Team.
  • o A member of the Catastrophe Team.
  • o Responsible for tracking Time & Expenses and job costing.
  • o This position is remotely based.
  • o Must conduct themselves according the DKI Core Values.
  • o Additional duties as deemed necessary by Vice President of Operations
 

WORK EXPERIENCE

 Managing in a transaction processing environment (minimum 2 yrs.)

  • Insurance claims business experience (minimum 3 yrs.)
  • General contracting experience (minimum 5 yrs.)
  • Property restoration experience (minimum 5 yrs.)
 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Industry applicable certifications and/or licensing
  • Estimate training and/or certification
